Your voice is absolutely captivating in this song!I remembered that I heard this tune in a hindi song..'Dil ko tumse pyar hua' from Rehna hai tere dilmein.That song never really grabbed my attention.I guess this song sounds better in a female voice.
So then I went ahead and heard the tamil original of this song and finally found that the orignal and your version sound very close!
In fact,your voice sounds huskier ,deeper and more sensous than the original.When I heard it before hearing any of the above versions,I dint feel I am hearing a cover version!I think I like this song the best among ALL your renditions although I didnt understand a single word of the lyrics!:)This is going to go on my ipod :)
